Hurricane Cocktail Recipe

Hurricane Cocktail Recipe

Hurricanes aren’t actually named after the natural disaster although you may believe otherwise. They were however popularized in the 1940’s. There was a bar known as Pat O’Brien’s located in the French Quarter. They named the drink after hurricane lamps because the glass’s shape was reminiscent of the same shape.

Decades later we enjoy these intense fruit-flavored blends. Just make sure the bar you’re ordering at has a blender and you should be good to go.
