Cocktail Recipes

Have you ever fallen in love with a cocktail? Have you ever felt so passionate about a mixed drink that the bartender passed your way that as soon as it hit your lips no other thought could enter your mind except a hard-hitting DAMN that’s good! The power of a delicious cocktail can change someone’s world even for just a moment. It can take you to the top of the bartending community as well as drive you into high-paying job in a popular establishment. Essentially, if you can make an amazing cocktail then you have a future of success is in store.

I love the taste, smell and balance of a well made cocktail. It takes a certain eye for pouring and an understanding of the flavors of various alcohols to be proficient in mixology. But you don’t have to be a professional with years of experience to get started. In fact, ANYONE can mix a drink with just a bit of practice.

Beginning Bartender's Guide

The Beginning Bartender’s Guide offers a variety of free lessons to teach you how to be a mixologist.

Whether you’ve never made a single cocktail before or you simply want to remember the ingredients to a specialty drink that your friends love, spend some time looking at some of our seasonal drinks and browse around the free bartending lessons.

Although Bartender Mixed aims to help bartenders learn the art of mixology, we also want to provide anyone who comes here with the resources they need to learn the basics of bartending. Perhaps the greatest service a bartender provides to any setting is their vast knowledge of mixed drinks. Each ingredient must be accounted for in it’s exact proportion in order to comprise the end result of a tasty and buzzworthy drink. Without this knowledge of drink recipes, a bartender is simply another server who stands behind the counter.
